Thanks to the Friends of the Library, we’re bringing Forest Whales to Amery! Forest Whales is a traveling, hands-on STEM program featuring a life-size, 56-foot inflatable whale that students can walk inside. They bring a collection of museum-quality hands-on specimens that visitors can actually touch and examine. Highlights include a replica orca skull, narwhal tusk, giant Megalodon tooth, and a cast replica of a Tyrannosaurus rex jaw. Every item in the collection is designed to be held, questioned, and remembered.
This is a drop-in anytime program. In addition to the whale and fossils, we’ll have other stations like Storytime, face painting, and more! There might even be a T. Rex running around…
Located at the Amery Middle School Gym. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
